See it, Name it, Disrupt it: White Supremacy Culture
The "Dismantling Racism: A Workbook for Social Change Groups," by Kenneth Jones and Tema Okun outlines 13 characteristics of white supremacy culture that show up in our organizations and institutions. In the mainstream overt "white supremacy" is easy to see, but in this series we will be looking at the aspects of white supremacy that are deeply embedded into our systems and norms. Each session we will cover 2-3 of these characteristics and discuss strategies to disrupt them.
