Off-Campus Housing Insights

Off-Campus Housing Insights

Are you wondering how to navigate the housing market here in Humboldt? Do you need help with housing resources? Are you tired of couch surfing or sleeping in your car? Are you a student who wants to move off-campus? This is a workshop for you.

HSU Has an Off-campus Housing Coordinator who is a Masters of Social Work student and has experienced housing insecurity as a first generation, transfer student from community college.

Co-Founder of Student Housing Advocate Alliance, a student-run non-profit, Chant’e has a wealth of information, resources, and narrative that could help you acquire housing, volunteer or internship opportunities in the area.

There will be the opportunity to discuss solutions for housing in the area. We will also open up conversation around what students and the campus have been doing to support change in our harsh housing infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity to get connected to agents who are working on housing issues in Humboldt, the CSU system and nationally.
