This workshop is part of a professional-development series for current tutors and ISAs across campus. The series is designed to support and enhance tutoring skills and practice.

“Active Listening” focuses on an essential skill of an effective tutor--knowing how to really listen. In this session, participants will learn about verbal and non-verbal communication in tutoring sessions and engage in hands-on practice to reflect on and improve their own listening skills.
