Managing Multiple Projects
Recent studies have demonstrated that "multi-tasking" actually lowers productivity levels. Yet here you are with multiple classes to manage, each with multiple tasks and assignments. This may be in addition to projects that you're managing in your part-time job, at home, etc. How can you keep track of your projects and give them each the time they demand? This Skillshop will focus on project-planning using AirTable--a free web-based application that will enable you to access your dynamic plan from anywhere. During the session, we'll take brief work "sprints" to set priorities and chart a path toward finishing what's on your plate this semester. You'll leave the Skillshop with a clear plan and a way to modify that plan according to your dynamic creative process. This workshop is complementary to other time management Skillshops that emphasize time budgeting and scheduling. Our focus will be on project planning and seeing your tasks in a new way. Bring to this session your syllabi and a list of the tasks and assignments that you want to complete this semester.
