Super Social Justice: A look at identity politics in comic books
This session is a look at diversity and social justice themes in comic books and graphic novels. We will focus the conversation on representation both in books and in the creation of books as well as the themes present in the text. We will focus primarily on Marvel books and also offer a look at some alternative/indie comic options for folks looking to branch out.
