Google Drive Basics
Are you new to using Google Drive? Haven't tried it yet? Haven't even heard of it? Then this workshop is for you- we will go over the basics and look at how to create and collaborate on documents using Google Drive.
In this workshop, you will:
-
Create and edit Google documents (including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation slides and more)
-
Learn about and use collaborative features such as comments, suggestions and chat
-
Learn how to invite others to edit, view or comment on your documents
-
Including how to set basic user permissions
-
Be sure to have your HSU username and password - you will need to use your HSU-provided Google account (e.g. twm2@humboldt.edu) to participate in the workshop. If you are unsure of how to access your account, visit https://www2.humboldt.edu/its/services/accounts or stop by the Technology Help Desk on the first floor of the library before the workshop.
